cat epilepsy symptoms

for the third time ,my cat seamus, collapsed to floor and appeared to be panting for breath,loses control of bladder and bowels .looks zoned out...vet has checked heart and that was fine said it prob fits....could it be epilepsy even tho he doesnt jerk or shake? seems to have all other symptoms..would appreciate any info possible thanks xx
