yeah!!!  its not HUGE news but like I said earlier the kittens found in my garage last week just hide anytime I go check on them,..and I've been talking to them regardless & leaving food out for them.

Well,...today when I brought food in there & was doing my usual talking to them,... one of them came out of hiding & started eating the food I just put down!!!!  yay!!     so yes,..I just remained still & continued to talk in a quiet calm voice & it ate in front of me.  I think thats pretty good considering  :)      Thanks all,...just had to share.   Hopefully the progress will continue~

Oh yes, a big step forward. Step after step, after enough many of them you are there.   :)

The others see now it is possible to dare forwards, and still be alive.  :)

Good luck!

Thanks for the encouragment~   now I can usually get one of the 2 to play with a string while I pull it/move it around  :)

the shyer one just watches & has'nt joined in yet.   Maybe she will soon enough.    they both still stand back a few ft from me & if I reach for them they run.  But I have time....LOL    & a whole lot of patience.

Something about taking  wild kittens/cats or abandoned babys & nurturing them to become adoptable loving animals I find so rewarding.   Some of my relatives & friends think I'm nuts to do it & they just LOVE to keep telling me to either "just leave em alone they are wild, don't feed them"...or better yet,....Trap them & take them to the animal shelter.    I'm kinda sick of hearing their opinions

.Trap them & take them to the animal shelter.
Where they would be pts. They do so almost always with semiferales, not thinking twice.

YOU are thinking right, and doing right.

Besides, everybody choose their pastime.  Some like to watch  Dallas or other Forever-TV-operas.

Others can work many many hours renewing their veteran car.

Still others foster semiferales, giving them life, helping them to become somebodyys loved pets.

Others help humans in need. This is too an acceptable pastime.  :)

Good luck!

Thank you Stevfans.....I feel its the right thing to do,.....I always go with my gut & my gut tells me to help

them  :)   & I'm making progress,...tho slow somewhat, but I'm def seeing progress with them.

I just opened the huge dog crate I borrowed & have it set up in the garage with the door of it open,...hoping they'll will get use to it.

One of the more playful less shy/skiddish babys LET my oldest son pet his tummy while he was playing with us yesterday.  :)

Some time ago, I got the idea from horse whisperers that you should use a soft voice talking to animals. I'm glad to have confirmation from you.  I am a man and normally our voices are harsh. I whisper to them.

Aw just :hugs: Try not to listen to others and keep up with what you are doing. You are doing what your heart tells you to do and this is your calling. Ignore the Nay-sayers. I get that all the time from some family and friends and I just keep talking about the cats and all of the good I am doing. After they learn more about TNR and rescue, they seem to open their hearts to the whole idea of rescuing kitties and start to respect what I am doing. Either way, I don't need their respect or approval :lol3: :hugs:

It is great that one of the kittens is starting to accept pets from your son. Soon, the other's will see how wonderful humans and petting can be by watching the other brave kitten. They will come around!!! :D You are doing everything quite well and I think you are great for what you are doing for them.  :vibes::vibes:
