Fur Mom in California

Hi everyone! Or shall I say meow? I am a mommy to my awesome fur babies, MiMi and Hayden. MiMi is an Egyptian Mau who is about 8 1/2 years old whom I got from my brother when he couldn't keep her. She was born on the roof of a house and for the first weeks of her life lived outside. She is all grown up now and still has some of her crazy feral ways about her. She's my little vocal girl- always alerting me where she is by her loud talking. Hayden is an 8 year old Himalayan that I rescued from a former co-worker. She had too many cats in and out of her house and several were headed to a shelter. I brought Hayden home in a cardboard box since I didn't have a carrier and he cowered in the corner all of the way home. He has a sweet little meow and if he wants my attention he will nudge my hands to pet him. I grew up with all sorts of animals so it was only natural to get more babies when I moved out of my childhood home. They truly are my babies[emoji]9829[/emoji]

Me too. This was a rare moment for them. They may cuddle up for a little while but then someone gets a burr up their butt, hisses at the other and runs away. lol
