She may have a kitten stuck in the birth canal. She needs to see a vet. Please get her spayed after these kittens

Is she content with her kittens? If so she is likely done, you can also gently feel her tummy for more kittens but being settled is a pretty good sign.

Please take the 8 week old away, it's too big and will push the little ones aside.

If there is something wrong like a kitten stucked in birthing canal you probably notice easily because the cat is visibly unwell.  In such case you must rush in - or at least - phone a good vet asap and ask opinion.

If she is contend no problems, etc, you can wait, as Missymotus says. Observe closely of course, but you can wait.  If you phone a vet in such situation, you will surely get the same  advice.

If unsure at all- do phone your vet. He will know which follow up questions to ask.

However. it is not entirely impossible there may still be kittens inside. It happens, not often but not entirely unique either,  cats do have two entirely different litters. Delivering them 3 weeks apart, both healthy...

There is also another variation.

Say two kittens who were begone in a mating in the beginning of the heat, and two - in the last days of the heat, ie several days apart.   Some of these may be born prematurely (not good for a kitten), but sometimes - they all are born just in time, but a couple of days apart.

Anyway, as long as the cat is contend, not feverish, no problems - you observe, wait and see.

About the foster kitten.  Yes, you must watch closely so he doesnt take too much place.  If he does, you can try to maneuver, put him in in his own time only, or so.  If still big problems - you must separate him yes.

But if everything seems to go on fine, so...   :)

You know the trick of taking weigh on the kittens every day? a kitchen scale scaled in grammes, or 1/10 oz.   This way you see if the gain as they should - or not.   ALL breeders do so, and also most rescuers.

Welcome!

Good luck!

She shouldn't still look pregnant 6 days after delivery.

If you mean 6 hours then yes, she could have a kitten or kittens left to deliver.

If you are unsure take her plus kittens to your vet.

*if* she is still pregnant then yes, you will feel the kittens move sometimes and not others.

What date did she have her kittens?

So, she's given birth over a week ago and has no live kittens?

Sounds like she's coming into heat again. Please get her to the vet and spayed asap.

The kittes stillborn or dying quickly off sounds like they were premature.  This increases the possibility there may be still some left.  Double different litters simultaneously is more rare than deliver one or two premature, and later on deliver the rest in their due time.

The second you tell, with back end up and being funny, sounds like heat. Ie the birthing done with for this time.

And as you are not a breeder, now it is time for spaying, as soon this heat period is over.

So, do phone your vet, tell the story. The vet will know which follow up questions to ask.

If  she is empty now, make appointment for the spaying.

If she still has moving kittens inside, and she is well and feel just fine, you will probably be allowed to let her deliver by herself, when she is ready.

But if the vet thinks her funny going is signs she is not well, he will prob do emergency surgery.

Edit.  The vet may wish you bring the cat over for him to personally check over.  Do so.

If she is already empty but in heat, and the vet is experienced surgeon - he can do the spaying surgery anyway. I mean, so this trip will not be in wain, so to speak.

Spaying female in heat is nothing for an unexperienced vet, but for an experienced surgeon vet it is not too difficult.

So phone your vet, asap,  and ask for advices.

(tell, when everything is over, she will be spayed in his clinics, so you are talking practically as his paying patient. )

Good luck!
