Tiny, one of my ferals (and the only one left out of the three kittens born last year) is a year old and I've been noticing she's very skinny. I know she was the runt of the litter, but she worries me. I feed her twice a day, and she normally gets a pouch of Whiskas or can of Friskies per feeding (I know, not such a good food, but I'm feeding about 14 ferals and cannot afford high quality food for them).

She also gets free fed dry food, Whiskas (from my neighbor who generously helps out with feeding the ferals). I don't have any pictures of her on here though because my camera is in for repair. I just worry about her. She eats like a horse but she doesn't seem to gain weight.

Her sister Socks went missing when she was three months old, and hasn't been seen since. Her other sister (and BFFL) Ruby died mysteriously on June 3rd. :( Tiny is all alone now and it scares me. Poor girl. She's very feral though and trap savvy so I can't get ahold of her to take her to the vet.

So what I'm asking I guess, is it normal for the runt of the litter to be skinny? Or does this mean she has an underlying condition?

Yeah, it's frustrating when they're trap savvy. :(

It could be so many things. :sigh: Without a vet visit, there's really just no way to know.

My only idea here is to give you suggestions for re-trapping her to get her to the vet. Do you want the ideas, to see if you've tried them? :dk:

And I'm so sorry about her siblings. :rbheart: :hugs:
