I just brought 4 new spider plants home, small young plants with not much sproutings yet. Morgan found them and delights in eating them!!
So 2 questions, will this make him sick? And also how can I get him to stop? Ive tried putting them out of his way, but yet I dont want the plants to die from being hidden somewhere. I thought about getting him one of those pots of grass they sell for cats, but wouldnt that just encourage him to eat greens? He gets plenty of good food and fresh water, so I dont get it. I think he may have been an outdoors cat with his last owners, so maybe hes used to eating green stuff? And he doesnt eat my other plants, just these new spider plants. So far I just sternly tell him no and remove him from the area or gently push his nose away (I do that for the one on my desk since I still want him to sit on my lap). Any tips? Will this make him sick? How can I save my plants?

To save the plants, spray them with "bitter apple" This will make them taste yucky. Spider plants are not poisoniuos to cats.
