Hello there and I'm new here

Nice to meet you! My name is Laurie, I live in NJ and have three cats. My first one is named Kid and was she adopted at 12 weeks from a foster/rescue home. She's a big, furry black cat and a snuggle-bug with me, but can't stand to be touched by anyone else (people or cats). I've had her for 7 years and love her beyond measure. The second is named Lester and we got him in October. He was on the streets as a little kitten. He was found by a family friend after a big rain storm as he was making his was through a fence. The friend gave him temporary shelter and after a vet check-up we took him. He is cream and white striped and exceptionally adorable. He brings nothing but joy and love to the household. The third is named Monks and is a Calico who was roaming in our backyard when I rescued her about six weeks ago. I can tell with time and patience she's going to be a love-bug too. I love all animals and hand feed a big crew of squirrels in my backyard daily too.
