I am looking for recs. on a water fountain for my 6 babies. It needs to be easy to clean and less than 100.00. I have already tried the Drinkwell Platinum & the Drinkwell 360 and they are both horrors to clean IMO. I have a couple of babies who like to splash and play with the water if I just put it in a bowl so I really need an easy to clean fountain. Thanks.

We have the CatIt water fountain and I find it is VERY easy to clean. :bigthumb:

This is the one I had decided on. Thank you for verifying it is easy to clean. :wavey:

IMO, I like the Drinkwell 360 best of all the Drinkwell fountains. I need free falling steams, as I have several kitties who only drink from them. The 360 is easier to clean than the other Drinkwells. I've never had a Cat It fountain to compare it to.

I have read that complaint about being hard to clean too, but very few water fountains are made of stainless steel and people say ceramic is too heavy for a waterer. I love the fact that you can change the number of spouts on it.  But I have no use for it because Patricia is my only cat so I can't buy one.

Never had any issues cleaning the Drinkwell Platinum here. We've also got a Petmate Deluxe, Cat-It dome and a couple of Cat-it fresh & clear fountains.

the fresh & clears are the easiest to clean but it also has no reservoir so needs daily filling.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered the Catit yesterday but then read a review that said if there was a power failure the cats wouldn't have water to drink. I hadn't thought about that so I immediately cancelled. I guess I will have to keep my Drinkwell 360 for now. At least they would always have water.
