Nelson, Zoe (the Octopus) and a cat tree!

I am going to post a series of pics of the cats playing on their tree last Sunday morning in the sun.

I will let you all know once they are finished!!

next, this is an octopus made of rabbit fur and filled with catnip that we let them play with when we are around...

they love it and it gets them all frisky!!

ok - now they are starting to get a bit riled up and frisky...

nelson always gets more riled up than zoe and uses his weight to his advantage

What a great sequence! Pretty kitties

I love it! They are so cute and funny!!

They are cute playing together . Great pictures of them , can wait to see more .

They are hamdsome boys!

We had a furry octupus toy that came on an elastic cord, which you could connect to a doorway. My Yuri in particular just LOVED it, even after it came off of the cord.

Lucia, I think we are talking about the same octopus toy!!

This one is meant to be hung in a doorway, only our doorways are funny shapes so we hang it off one of the roof beams in our loungeroom over their cat tree.

Zoe is so funny, she will grab it and climb down the cat-tree until the elastic is at full stretch, then she lets it go and it flies back up and she races (full pelt) up the tree to get it and start the game all over again - very cute to watch.

Nelson just likes to hang on to it and lick it until it is sodden - he likes catnip though where as Zoe doesn't. So maybe the catnip inside is the most attractive part to him while Zoe is just enjoying it being a toy???
