Looking for CRF recipes

Could anyone offer suggestions or recipes for my Maverick who has just been diagnosed with CRF this last week and won't eat the renal diet food I got from the vet.

I am giving him raw chicken at the moment just so he is eating something.

Just in case you haven't come across this website: http://www.felinecrf.org/index.htm It talks about chronic kidney disease, which is basically another term for CRF. It's very helpful when caring for a cat with CRF.

PS: I haven't gotten into feeding raw or homemade yet, so all this is based on what I've been researching in the past couple of days. Good luck and hope everything goes swell.

Thanks, I will investigate those links. Maverick just will not have anything to do with the renal diet food so if I can cook up something as effective but more palatable I will post recipes and results here.
