any day now

my kitty cats pregnant she is over 1 year old. I got her from a friend of mine. She is from my cat he is the daddy of Hades. But it's her first litter she's gettin BIG in pics u cant tell she's pregnant but if you seen her in person u would know she's pregnant. I'm not sure how far she is but I do know she is due anytime now. She usually keeps to herself and lately she's been following me around and meowing at me when I walk by her. She has a place to have her kittens under the bathroom sink. She spends most her time in there until she sees me go in there then she follows me most the time. I have a  dog and Hades is usually very playful towards dogs. It could also be because she isn't used to Tequila. She will play with her but she is LAZY now. She would roll all around and try to sleep. The other day I thought she would have them that night because the kittens were really active the whole night. I do know she is over a month pregnant almost 2 months. She's also moody sometimes she will want you to pet her but then change her mind. She's never this affection We had company and she went straight to them she usually never does it. She's also been cleaning herself A LOT tonight I just wanna know what other people went thru when there cat was pregnant for the first time and how many kittens they had and how big the cat was if u have pics post them.

If you read the other threads you will find a huge variety of experiences and photos, and they are not all good experiences.  Hopefully you will be getting her neutered as soon as the kittens are weaned - that could be 10 weeks or a bit longer.  She can get pregnant again while the kittens are tiny so keep her in until she's neutered.  She could also have an accident leaving you with tiny fragile kittens to try to rear.

You can get any unneutered males done right now, and they can be a real danger to kittens.  You also avoid one of your own cats getting her pregnant again.

The best way to know when she is due is to know when she first mated and add 65 days.

I got her from a friend of mine when we moved away she got outside and I couldnt keep her from goin outside and where we live there is a bunch of stray cats. My cat Milenko got her mom Zoey pregnant and Hades was the only female zoey had I wanted her but couldn't have her one of my friends got her and she moved and left Hades with her ex and her ex isn't a cat person so he gave her to me. My cat Milenko is still with the people i lived with for 2 years he wanted to stay there so i kept him there he's more an outside cat. As for Hades I have a good guess on everything because there was one cat that her and him were insepratable and he's the neighborhood cat named midnight. I kinda took him in as my own. Hades doesnt much care for other cats if any other cat came near her she would be mean as possible but she took a likeing to midnight which is why i took him in. He mostley stays outside tho.

If Midnight is now your cat can you get him neutered before Zoey has her kittens? Even though they are friendly right now he could be a danger to the kittens as soon as they are born. He will not understand that the kittens are 'his' and could try to kill them to bring the mother, Zoey, into heat so he can mate with her again.This is just instinct in male cats.Even if he does not harm the kittens he will try and mate with Zoey very soon after she gives birth, and that would not be good for her to have two litters so quickly.

zoey is hades mom midnight is a stray that runs around outside my house the kittens are gonna be inside not outside and i will get my cat hades fixed when i got the money she was an inside cat but kept goin outside somehow 

I am sorry - I meant Hades, not Zoey. I assume that Midnight is probably the father of her kittens, but whether he is or not he might harm them. Good luck - I hope all goes well.

yea i know he could be but the kittens are gonna be inside all the time and hes an  outside cat also im givin all but 1 kitten away

Update on Hades 

She's been lounging around all day I'm trying to make sure she doesn't have her babies in my clothes drawer she keeps goin in there and its hard to get her out of there. I took one of my smaller drawers and put it under the sink in her area i made her. I tried putting the bigger one under there first but it didnt fit too well hopefully the smaller one works for her.

oh and i took the bigger one and brought it into the living room under the coffee table so she has 2 places she can give birth only one is closer to her food if she decides to give birth in the living room ill just mover her food there

Hades is walking back and forth between the kitchen living room and bath room she is licking herself a lot this includes her private areas also. She also seems to be following me around also. 

Update still nothin new she's still paces and looks around like shes lookin for somethin. shes in the bathroom at the moment and is very vocal when she sees me. we came home and thought she might have had a few cuz she looks smaller but no kittens yet. 

Update I think my guess is a lil off lately or maybe im just anxious for hades i think. Im givin it another week if she hasn't had them yet i'm goin to take her to the vet. I get this weird feeling she may need a c-section. I wish I had the money no so I knew how exactly far she is. She's still actin fine I'm just worrying about my babygirl.
