inhaler medication for cat made him sick?

My question is, could the inhaler medication have made him sick? As soon as he took one treatment of the inhaler he got very ill.

I posted here that my cat was very sick and asking if anyone had the same experience. A minor miracle that he bounced back. They thought it was asthma, there is still a respiratory issue in his chest.

I am asking if anyone has heard of this before, could he have had a reaction to the medication?
