Maine Coon verse dog

My neighbors down the street have a Maine coon, a very large black monster as i laughingly refer to it. So they have it out on a walk, leashed, and this lab, looked like one, comes running up, we were speaking at my car and they had just left, we have no idea whom the lab belonged to. So this lab runs up and begins the obligatory barking and growling and running in circles in fron the whole time as i watch King, it just sits there tilting its huge head, the MC not the dog, King weighs about 21 pounds, the lab gets to close on one pass and we all hear this yelp the lab hauls tail away and if not for the little amount of blood on the ground i wouldnt have thought the big maine had moved, it happened pretty quick and when i ran up everyone was laughing and King was simply sitting and staring at us as if nothing had happened. Almost makes me want to get one, but i cant stand long hair cats because of the shedding, one of my many failings. Grin.

Hilarious Maine Coons put up with no crap from anything...  I once had a large Siamese male who would go pound the stuffing out of the neighbors German Shepherd quite often.  It is all in the attitude.  Even large cats have lightning paws.
