Hope everything goes OK at the vet, Lauren! :hugs:

Lauren, how did the boys do at the vet??
Aw thanks!! Henry went back to have the eye re-checked. He ran into a stick in the "little forest" last Friday. I saw it poke him in the eye. :shame: Still not healing. I certainly hope we don't need the "specialist" Will know Friday at the next re-check. :cross: Poor baby. Wilbur..... is starting medication for Hypothyroid and is on an antibiotic for that gum infection. Not sure he can withstand surgery for tooth puling right now. We need to address these other health issues first. Presley, our little darling, had a bladder infection! He is no longer standing to pee!!:clap::clap::clap: I am so GLAD I took him in. Standing to pee was the only change. I took that as a sign of the possibility that something was medically, not behaviorally, wrong since he has never stood to pee before. So far so good. :cross:

Thanks for asking! :hugs: :hugs: I feel like a nurse :nurse: right now. I have a dry erase board in the laundry room with everyone's medication schedule/time. There are more than enough on that list.

Good luck with the kids on Friday, Lauren! I'm glad they're doing better!

I'm pooped. I'm just pooped. Got home last night around 10:00 and the entire time was spent cleaning that filthy kitchen. Those people were total slobs. I don't care if they were older people; that's no excuse for not cleaning your house. I can't tell you how many times I changed my Lysol water because it kept turning black from all the dirt and crap in those kitchen cabinets. The floor was just filthy. The inside of the oven made me cringe. That kitchen was a disaster...I opened a drawer and found green bread!
The last thing I did last night was go after that kitchen floor; it took four changes of water.....and the kitchen isn't that big!

The good news is that we found 9 bottles of liquor. The bad news is that I wouldn't drink any of it. After cleaning that kitchen? Ick.

Most of it is now spotless, I'm glad to say; I even washed down the kitchen walls (they're pretty much ready for painting now). Cleaned out all the cabinets with Murphy's soap, then gave all the cabinet exteriors a good dose of lemon oil. I took all the electrical socket covers and switch covers off and cleaned them, then put them back together.  I'm going back up on Friday after work to attack that oven (there's a reason self-cleaning ovens were invented, people!!) and then to work on the bathrooms, which aren't in any better shape than the kitchen. And then I'm done.

I earned my pizza last night.

But I digress.....sorry (I do that often)

One load of laundry this morning.....I can't believe I never thought about doing a load of laundry in the morning; I'm in the basement anyway!

Going out for dinner with work friends....can't wait for that margarita!

I plan on going to bed early tonight (did I mention that I'm pooped??!)

I just don't get that. I made sure our house was spotless when we moved. Was it a foreclosure?

Went to a local park to scout out spots to take engagement pics of my niece.

Went to a garden center to pick up fertilizer.

Laundry...always laundry. :lol3:

It is terrible, just terrible. I could not believe the state of that house when I walked in. The previous owners left a note:

Dear XXX,

Sorry we couldn't vacuum. The movers packed up the vacuum cleaner, so we couldn't. Sorry.

But what about everything else? For crying out loud. I mean, when you find green bread in the drawer? There's just no excuse. None.

I only have one thing on my list for today and that's to do more cleaning in that house. Rick is stopping in for dinner; we're going to do pizza again. Yay pizza!

No note for green bread?

Went to the vet to pick up Abby's prescription food
Brought flowers to the cemetery.
Went to a local factory outlet to pick up a few things for Aaron and found out they are closing and everything was 40% off. I spent more time and money in there than I had intended. :lol3:

Cleaned the bathrooms (all the fixtures and cabinets, the walls and the floors) and the mudroom at the house last night. (I told him he's on his own with the laundry room....it was just too gross for me; I couldn't do it.)  While I was doing that, he cleaned and swept the garage and the basement (it was interesting seeing a basement with nothing in it....our basement is filled with all kinds of things!!
) Took all the light globes off the ceiling fan lights and washed them down; the globes were "furry"
. Then I got up on the step ladder and cleaned all the fans. Got that darn oven cleaned, too. He had already cleaned the carpets in the house. The place looks a lot better than it did, that's for sure.

He and Charlie, his cat, are moving in this weekend.

So today:

Clean my own house

Yard work

Strip the bed down and wash the sheets

OMG, Winchester, my hat is off to you. You are one brave lady! l can't touch other people's dirt. l'm fine with cleaning my own, but other people's furry, grimy objects, and furry green food makes my insides flip-flop.

After my wonderful 12 days off, it's time to return to work tomorrow, so:

Laundry for work-week

Cooking/freezing for a week

Catch up on 12 days of emails sitting in my work inbox

Thanks! It was.....disgusting in that house. To say the least.

1.  Work outside -- we really need to get that pool open or we're going to have trouble with the water. But it's been so much on the coolish side weatherwise that we've just not gotten it done.

2.  Go for a few groceries -- we're going to my sister's tomorrow for the family Memorial Day picnic and I'm in charge of the beans, the salad, and the desserts. I'm making a frozen peanut butter pie and a lemon ice box pie. And some cookies.

3.  Mow, mow, mow the yard -- have I mentioned how much I've appreciated getting the riding mower back from the repair shop?

Working on a couple loads of laundry as I type

We had to put the tarps on the strawberries last night as there was a (slim) chance of frost....I have to get up there this morning and take the tarps off

After we come home from my sister's, I have to work on weeding
