My name is Elizabeth and I am currently mommy to 8yr old female (Aya) and a new edition to the family 14yr old male (Luna)

I am so glad I found this site, Luna is new to the family and I don't have any idea what to do for a cat in the winter of his life.

How wonderful that you have given a home to an grand elderly male... In my experience, there's not a lot needs to be done except attention to diet for older cats, looking after teeth and just keeping an eye on his health in general. 

Others will probably have some great advice, and if you need to know anything, there's a wealth of knowledge here!
