I adopted a very pregnant cat from my local shelter on 6/9/12. This is my first experience with a pregnant cat and I have no idea what to expect. The kittens are really moving around inside her belly. She lays around on her side all the time, and she is leaking milk from her nipples. No strange behaviors yet. The waiting game is driving me crazy, and I just wanted to know if anyone had a guess as to when she may deliver. Thank you.

Cats haven't read the Internet or books so they do what they want to do, when they want to.  All you can do is sit tight and wait.

Where is the box?

Just relax, the more anxious you get, the more she will pick up on it. She may have them in the bathroom, either in the tub or behind the toilet. If she does, you can try to move her and the kittens to the bed you've made for them after she's had them and gotten them all cleaned up. Don't try to move her during the birthing process. Remember, this is a scary time for her.....she's in a new home with new people, sounds, smells and now she's going to have babies in this uncertain environment. Take everything slow and easy with her.

good luck she should have her kittens soon if she hasnt already everything should be fine. Cats usually know how to take care of themselves while goin thru all of it. Once she has the babies she should be fine
