Aren't they sweet!!??

I weighed them today (7 days since I last weighed them) and they have each gained well over 100 grams in that time. They have gotten so big!

The second set of pics (white with orange head) is the girl and the rest are boys.

I agree!! Yours are so cute, and I love their colorring.

Their eyes look slightly freaky at this stage....once they are fully open they will look so much cuter!

wish my babies would line up at the milk bar like that, with mine its like some free for all with them facing all directions and sitting on each other. Either that or they are batting at each others heads to get the middle nipple which seems to be the favorite lol

They are so adorable...and considerably larger than my little guy...he's 9 days old today and only weighs a little over an ounce!
Wow! Wait a second here... a little over an ounce? Isn't an ounce like about 30 grams... that is ridiculously small.  Is there something wrong with him/her?

These guys are serious fatties... I think the mother is a cow in disguise with the size of her teats and the amount of milk she has lol.!

Lol, I put them there :p. They usually scrap for a teat. One will be suckling and another will come along and try it's hardest to shove that guy off! They end up laying on their sides ferociously scratching at eachother ahahah.

They all have their eyes open now and look soooo cute! I have to take more pictures.

Ps. When should I start advertising for these guys? I don't want to do it too early but I also don't want to wait too long either. I've never had kittens before and I'm not sure how hard it is to find homes for them.

They are really cute!

As to finding them homes, they need to stay with mom until 12 weeks, that is ideal. You will also want to charge something for them. A rescuer once told me "always charge for kittens/cats, people don't take cars of things they get for free" and she was sooooo right. Plus, when you advertise for free kittens, there are unscrupulous people that will take them for nefarious purposes (pit bull bait, selling to research facilities, snake food, etc) and for the most part, these folks won't pay for a kitten.

If I were you, I would reach out to some local no kill groups and see if they would be willing to take them once they are old enough. They have a much wider network for getting them homes than you do, plus they have the ability to get them shots, spayed/neutered, etc. is momma getting spayed too?

12 weeks?! I was thinking more about 8 weeks. I am not sure how much to ask though... like $20 or what?

Yes, the mom is getting spayed.

$20 sounds to cheap to me.  $50 might be nearer the mark - for one thing look at how much they cost in food & litter.

They will be dewormed but won't have any shots. I will try to litter train them although I am not quite sure how to (my cats just went to it automatically when I first got them).

So, for that would someone pay $50... even though they are mutt kittens?

In the UK £50 is common for 'mutt kittens' and that's more like $70.  Look in the ads, see what people are paying in your area, look at what rescues are charging - though remember they might include vaccination, chipping, neutering or whatever.  Do consider a small discount if people are willing to have two though - kittens fit into new homes much better in pairs.

That is just what I was doing, and I was a bit shocked to see people asking $100... and that is for no vaccinations/ deworming or anything except being litter box trained. So, i'll put $100 OBO on my ad.

Wow okay... so I put my ad up and got an extremely rude reply saying how I was mental and trying to make a profit off of the kittens. Well what the heck! How much should I charge then if others are asking $100 for a kitten with nothing?

People are idiots and when you post an ad, you will get a ton of stupid responses. Ignore them and focus on the ones that are interested. Delete the response from the rude person and move on to the next, obviously they aren't interested and you wouldn't adopt to them now anyway.

People are seriously rude..especially with the anonymity of the internet.

I lowered the price to $50... I don't want to charge too little and attract the wrong people, but I also don't want to scare anyone away either with a high price.

He was preemie...still not gaining much weight though. He's had a rough start and things are starting to go downhill for this little guy. I don't know what to do for him. He's already been to the vet twice...I may have to take him back tomorrow. Can't do anything til then. I feel so bad for the little guy. If anyone would like to know the whole story, visit the thread 8 day old miracle...HELP!  it will fill you in on the details...I am so lost and upset! I'm glad that your little ones are happy and healthy. Sorry, I didn't mean to ruin the mood around here...hope everyone is well!

I just glanced a bit at your thread, and I hope that little guy makes it!

Here's what I would do if I were you....

For the enemas, take a syringe without the needle (filled with warm water), and dip the end in vegetable oil...he'll be pooping like a goose if he is constipated.

And for the formula, IMO I would stop feeding commercial formula and give this a shot. http://leerburg.com/bottlefeeding.htm?set=1  . I saw that you said you did not want to upset his stomach, but to me it seems like it is definitely worth a shot considering he isn't doing so well. This formula has worked for many people and it contains more calories than commercial replacer thus helping with the weight gain this little guy desperately needs.
