My 1 female mother cat who has 4 kittens(8 weeks old) is due to be spayed next Tuesday, june 19th. My other cat, who is her 2 year old son from a previous litter just snuck by me while I was on my housephone, made her scream, and was penetrating her( intercourse) and I chased him away from her. ..I am so pissed at myself right now. Please tell me that the vet will still spay her as I and she cannot go thru this pregnancy crap no more. I have gone thru 3 already, she is constantly pregnant.

Vets will do emergency spays all the way up until almost full term. It's much easier on her when it's earlier, so get her done ASAP.

Spaying in such very early pregnancies is no problem at all. In fact, I saw in a british veterinary handbook they did recommended to get the female pregnant, and then come for spay (early spay).

This way they didnt risk to spay during heat.  THIS is tricky and quite dangerous.  An experienced veterinary surgeon manages this too, but for less experienced vets it is a messy job not without risks.

Late spaying is also possible, esp if the vet is experienced with this.  But this is entirely another story.

And yes, if you dont want them to have litters and such, spaying / neutering is the best medication.  :)

Off to the vet you go with both cats!   :)

Good luck!

Yep, a week-old pregnancy won't be any problem for a vet. My vet is one of the old-school types who will tell you to let the female get pregnant and then bring her in a week later, because it's easier than doing an in-heat spay :/. I don't think I approve of doing it on purpose like that, but in this case, definitely! You can let the vet know but I don't think there will be any trouble.

Make sure that all other cats in the house are fixed, too! Especially if you keep any girl kittens---they can get pregnant as young as 4 months. Cat breeding can really get out of hand fast, as you've found out.
