I mean CAT foot size (I realize where that question could have gone).

In puppies, you can generally get an idea of the size of the adult dog by the size of the foot.  Does the same hold true in young cats?

The reason I'm asking is Treasure's feet span a good two inches when she splays them out while stretching, making biscuits, etc...it's almost double the current size of her neat little feet.

Nope. Paw size doesn't mean anything when it comes to a cat, at least none that I've ever had.   Both Spencer and Katie had huge paws as kittens.  Spencer grew into his, but Katie never did. She is tiny compared to her paws. On the other hand Abby has very small dainty paws, but she's medium sized.

Seems to be true with my litters, those with bigger feet grow to be bigger cats. the biggest adult in the house also has the biggest feet.

I'm wondering if the same is true for tail size... my 7 month old boy has such a thick tail, and I'm wondering whether he's going to 'grow into it!'

(His paws are pretty sizable too...)

I heard that cats grow into their tails, and when they do, it means they have reached their adult size, well, length wise at least.

Isn't Treasure a Norwegian Forest Cat?   The CFA standard says "Males should be large and imposing, females may be more refined and may be smaller"  She will be a medium large cat, but that just gives more to hug.

Thanks. Looks like I'm in for a big boy!

Interesting. I think my Callie is part Norwegian Forest Cat, and she is a teeny cat (just about 7 lbs,), but she has the biggest feet in the house! (except for the humans)

Where did you get that information? I never  thought about it.

My experience has been that male kittens may have bigger paws and/or tails that they grow into, but female kittens may have bigger ears if anything they will grow into. When it comes to kittens to adult cats, you never know what your gonna get
