Finally got cable working (I hope)

It took a while, and they finally discovered it was a neighborhood issue.  Anyway, first it was a break in the cable, then it was a fuse --- finally after about 2 weeks it's all working.    Really frustrating as the picture would go in and out every 5 min. or so and then we'd lose the telephone, internet, tc.

:cross: that it continues to work. We had major issues with ours several years ago, and the problem turned out to be voles or shrews (we've got both) that were chewing through the cable. Our yard was dug up several times, and finally the cable company got wise and put all the wires through tubing.

Story of all our lives these days, with IT.  But what would we do without it? 

I have health issues as does my mom so phone would have been so worriesome to me!!!  We did without cable for so many years its nice to have but can easily do without.  Thankfull to live where there are many stay at home people!
 

Sounds nice.  I like that way of living as well.  And yes, I could easily do without tv, but do need my computer.  Couldn't get along without it!
