On June 6th, my neighbor brought over a baby kitten. His son had brought it to his house after rescuing it from the engine of his car that weekend. After losing Candy on April 23rd and Ruby on June 3rd, this kitten was a godsend to heal my broken heart.

I've been struggling to pick a name for this little boy, and I thought that I could make it into a fun little contest on here.

He's a male black and white kitten, here's a picture of him.

Just reply to this post with your name suggestion. I will pick my top ten favorites and create a poll. You guys can vote on the best name for this little guy. :D

Tennessee.  Shortens to Tenny.   Remember Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumley?  If so, that means you are mature.

I immediately thought of "Sir Charles" or maybe just "Chaplin" for two reasons. Hes black and white (Charlie Chaplin, black and white movies...yeah you get it, lol)...and because he's bringing you joy during a difficult time. (Again, Charlies bringing joy to people through WWI).

Yeah, I like that one.   He even looks kinda like Chaplin.  He has that innocently devilish look.  Well Done!

He is adorable!  So he was rescued from a car engine.  I've name my animals after different personality traits they have or situations they've been in.  For example my cat Swiffer... well I probably don't have to tell the story on that one with her name

He is so cute the first name that pops into my head is Spark Plug... Sparky.

Other possibilities - Fan Belt, Filter, Battery, Radiator (kinda cute), Hood, Axel, V8, Mo' (for motor), and so on...

Over the river and through the woods...
With that mask? Bandit is my choice!

I got my very first kitten because he "hopped a ride" in an engine and ended up where I worked. He was black and white also and his name was Jasper.

"Piston Puss?"  Oh...wait...the nicknames that might inspire might not be very PC...

"The Duke of Oil?"

That's a great name!
He looks just like a Bandit.
