I saw a friends cat today and it is bugging the hell outta me as to what type of cat that it may be. I do not have a picture of the cat so I will try to describe it the best I can. It was a stray....it is for sure a seal colored siamese with tabby strips on his face and legs only. No strips behind his head or anywhere else. He looks exactly like my seal lyxpoint Ragdoll except it is a short haired cat. Ragdolls are long hair. It is a mixed breed they believe. I just can't figure out where the cat would only get strips where he has them. If the cat had "tabby" mixed in with the siamese it seems like he would have some strips on his back or sides. He is a pointed cat. Any ideas? It is driving me nuts.

No.....thanks for the guess tho....the cat has no white on him at all. He is a seal colored siamese with blue eyes. The only difference is the cat has "tabby" strips only on his face and 4 legs only and is a short haired cat. It is tough without a picture.

There are lynxpointed siamese cats, who have
stripes where they would otherwise have the colored points.
That's probably what he is! You can see some below:

Siamese color variations

Scroll down a bit, and you will start seeing lynxpoints. The one your neighbor has may not be as wedge-y as some of these, but you can see the colors.

The Siamese Rescue website also usually has a bunch of lynxpoints up for adoption..www.siameserescue.org

Yep....that looks like him. He is a seal lynxpoint siamese. He does have a wedge shaped head but not as much as some of them. He also has the Siamese meow. I learned something today. Thanks again!
