Introduction

Hey all, just joined and don't have any cats but the girlfriend and I plan on getting two kittens from a friend whose cat just has a litter of 3. I was wondering if you have any advice for first time cat/kitten owners? I was thinking of getting a kitten care starter package from a vet around here but it's $350 and a bit out of our price range. Also can you help us determine the kittens breed? We don't who the father is because the mother is a house cat and got out one time and got pregnant. The mother looks like an Abyssinian too me.
