Hi evryone

My cat Ephemera was bought as a breeding queen but we had to have her neutered about 2 months ago as she contracted pyometer.

I noticed a week ago she had a lump where she had a mid line spay. Its about as big as small bubblegum ball generally but it seems to change in size. There are no other sypmtoms and she is well in her self.

Any ides would be appriciated

Thank you in advance

Amanda

If she was mine I'd ring the vet.  it may well be nothing, but he / she is best placed to judge if it's something to worry about.

Sorry your breeding plans were distrupted.  What breed is she?

Thank you.

She is a ragdoll. 11 months old. I phoned my vet this morning and I'm taking her in this afternoon. So hopefully I will know more then.

I was disapointed about my breeding plans as her type is perfect but we thought we might loose her at one point and it was a terrible time. Now I'm just so pleased she is still here and well again. Breeding comes well below the need for my ragdoll to be happy and healthy. I will still show her when she is fully back to perfect health. She will lead a very peicefull relaxed life from now on. I have her litter sister also and she has taken over my breeding plans so I'm quite lucky as I still have her line within my program.

Thank you for your help. This sight is very benificial.

Hi everyone.

Just got back from the vets with Ephemera, My ragdoll. Vet said its just fliud filled and nothing to worry about. He said to give her a week and if it doesnt reduce in size to take her back and he will drain it, he did say however it could fill up again in which case she will need some tests doing, but for the time being she is ok. Thank goodness.
