Paul had his 13th EECP treatment today -- and after the dr's office we went to the new gym near our  house and joined.    It's called "Crunch".    Big facility with lots of up to date equipment.   We go back tomorrow where each of us has a 1 hr session with a personal trainer.      Our original gym was very small, part of the county parks and rec dept., they're undergoing a move to a new facility, which will take 6 months.   This gym  is less expensive (let's see how long the "good" rates last), and much much bigger.      Looking forward to getting  back into a gym routine and taking it more seriously.   The old gym became more of a social experience, and less exercisse.  Oh social is nice - and we would like to meet more people -- but right now exercise is important for both of us.

Good luck with the new gym, Lana. Hope everything works out OK. How's Paul doing with the treatments? Everything OK?

Good luck with the gym! We had a membership once, but I find I am much more comfortable working out at home. I'm not a very social person.

Have fun at the gym! I signed up for 2 week trial at Bikram Yoga. Had my first session last night and it was hard! I know I have to work at it

Hope everything's OK with Paul!

OH Lana - good for you!!!!!! I have been thinking about joining a gym too. I do workout at home almost everyday though and it is more convenient for me to just go down to the "dungeon" whenever I can fit it in. I would like to take a pilates or yoga class SOON... I hope... Have fun and hope Paul is feeling well. :vibes::vibes:

Had our first sessions today with the trainer.    It's a one hour that comes with joining but of course they try to get you to sign up for personal trainer sessions.      We're just going to go and do our regular cardio exercise -- no personal trainers needed now!    It's a great gym and we have already run into some members of our former gym.

Paul's EECP sessions are going well.    He had 14 so far.

Thanks to everybody for your concern.

Really good luck to you, I started boxing about 3 months ago, my word when I first started i could hardly do anything at all, I love it now and I love the whole buzz I get when I'm there. Exercise I have found not only is good for the body but it clears the mind no matter how much or little that you do.xx
