I had never heard of it either. Was your cat just diagnosed with it?

Hi. Yes four years ago we lost our cat to this awful disease. It was really rare then but I have been contacted by 5 people this year who's cat has been diagnosed with it.
I am trying to get info on the disease out there for people. When our cat had it there was no information. I have contacted vets and referral centres worldwide for our web page so it can help other people

Tell people your experience with having a cat who suffered KGS. Make sure people understand what the risk factors are and what causes it. I would research everything about the disease before telling people, "My cat had KGS. Make sure that does not happen to your cat."

we do have Tabitha's story on a page on a social network. if you type in the disease the page will come up. we are wanting people to see the page and people who have been through it can post their story on there too
