I lost my Candy on April 23rd, and I didn't know I would have to go through this again so soon. One of my ferals, Ruby, passed away this morning. She was only a year old, so young and beautiful. One of my neighbors came to me when I arrived home this afternoon to tell me there was a sick or deceased cat underneath his car. He didn't hit her, she had absolutely no injuries.
I don't know what killed her. I'm absolutely heartbroken. 2012 has been a terrible year for me so far. Her twin sister, Tiny has no idea what happened and I am heartbroken for her as well.
I am going to find Tiny and Sassy, my ferals, a home as soon as possible. I will try to find an owner for Lucky too. I will not let another precious baby die like this.

I'm devastated.

Yes, keeping cats indoors-only is the responsible and caring thing to do, wherever you live; but it is not always possible, particularly with ferals.  I am so very sorry for your loss.

Thank you so much guys.

She was part of a huge colony and I was currently trying to find a home for her. :( guess I just wasn't fast enough.

Thank you again for your support guys :rbheart: :rbheart:

So very sorry about your feral kitty, Ruby :rbheart: . It really is hard on our hearts, caring for feral cats because we just have no control over their safety. Bless you for caring for them. :hugs: :vibes::vibes::vibes:

Fly freely :rbheart: Ruby :rbheart:
