I am very concerned with my 8 week old kitten. I can't get her to eat even using a medicine dropper and kitten milk. At this pont she won't stand up and when she does she just collapses and rolls to one side. I am very concerned. Yesterday we lost her brother. He seemed fine on Friday evening and was playing but yesterday he went down hill very quickly and eventually passed away last evening. I don't have the money to take her to a vet but need help. I am so scared and all I do is cry for the loss of my other kitten. I am just so confised and lost. Please help~~

You need to try to get some food and water down her.  It's called "forced feeding," but it's really more like "assisted feeding."

Kittens do crash very rapidly if they aren't getting nutrition or water.

You might get more responses if you post this in "pregnant cats and kitten care" section.

How is it going??  I fear the worst.

Sorry I didnt saw your post until now. What an amateur can do is what MrBlanche advices, and you essentially already tried...  So the advice I can give is to try harder...

Pros do have also other ways to  give them food, like vets and "professional" rescuers, a tube in to the stomach, but it is tricky and dangerously if you arent really skilled, so we dont recommend this to amateurs

Another advice is to secure it is enough warm; too much warm is not good, but the most common is not enough warm. They lose strengh in both cases... when not enough warm, they seem to be uninterested, lethargic etc...

A tip to give some quick strengh is to get them some white caro syrup on the gum. If you have dextrose ("winegrape sugar") is even better.  Honey if you dont have any of these.  I suppose maple syrup is ok. Common sugar if you dont have anything else...

Although as the bro went guickly down, and now this kitten, I suspect they have the same issue...

And although one should fight as long as there is live, I myself fear the worst - even with a experienced rescuer helping.

Good luck!

Can you contact your local rescue groups, they may be able to help.  Also, can try university veterinary school.  You may have a serious illness on your hands and may end up needing to make a decision if you can afford to have a cat who needs medical attention.  Sounds quite serious with the way the other kitten passed away so quickly, perhaps an infectious disease.
