Lol

I thought it was odd this morning that Magnus didn’t do his usual “wake me up by standing on or next to my head tapping on my face til I get up and feed him” routine.

Then I saw why:

My husband had left a bag of dried chicken breast treats (100 percent chicken breast and nothing else) out by the desk and it must have fallen to the floor (or Magnus grabbed it off the desk and brought it to the floor) and the whole bag has teeth marks and claw punctures (and kitty drool) ALL OVER IT. He had ripped / chewed it open and emptied the whole treat bag and hoovered them all up.

Bad!

lol

of course now he is acting innocent...

lol. He's one content kitty, bad or not!

I usually find if my cats don't wake me up, they've done something (like opening the fridge or freezer and helping themselves to the food inside...)

Oh yes, I have left treat bags out on the counter before with similar results. How could you possibly stay upset with him with a face like that?!?

If we're preparing chicken or turkey, it's all we can do to keep Nicolai from jumping right up on the cutting board.

Nicolai is such a cutie :) I would give him all the chicken and turkey he wants.

but yes, he was suspiciously quiet and sleeping in his window seat this morning.

I was wondering why he wasn't hungry.

I think cats are more fun when they're being naughty; and yes, Nicky and Daddy do pig out on chicken when the wife brings home Boston Chicken. He pigged out pretty well last Thanksgiving, too.

Why wouldn't Magnus look innocent, he did nothing wrong, those treats were his, after all...
