Question of the Day, Friday, June 1

Last night I went to dinner with some friends from work. We don't do it often, maybe about every two months or so. There are five of us (two no longer work with us, but we've stayed together anyway). We just went to a Mexican restaurant and I had my margaritas.....it's a rule or something, whenever we go out, I always have margaritas.  It's just the five of us, all women, and husbands are not allowed. I was home by 9:00.

Do you ever go to dinner with people from work? When is the last time you went to dinner without your DH or SO?

I don't work, so I don't go out with work friends, but when I did we used to go out fairly often, for margaritas. :lol3:

A friend and I went out for lunch a week and a half ago. . Ironically, it was a former work friend. :lol3:

My best friend is my Director, so we go out often for dinner with another couple of friends,  or lunch up at the local farm straight from work.

I have another group of friends that l go out for drinks and dinner with every couple of weeks as well

Just one person from work I hang out with. We went to Applebee's and to see a movie on friday. She's the only one I'd hang out with after work.

Everyone else.. eh. they drive me nuts.. I don't want to see them after work, lol

I used to go out with people I work with fairly often, but now I don't really like most of the people I work with, so it's very rare that we socialize. Dana and I go out to eat very often. The last time was yesterday!
 

I don't usually go out without my hubby! But once a month the girls from the horse barn and I go out to dinner or lunch. I really do enjoy and look forward to that

I occasionally meet one lady who I used to work with, but it's been a while.      Last time we went to Applebees -- great salads there.

Not currently employed, so no. 

When I worked I never went out after work.  My stepmom is on other side as she goes out weekly and they meet up for shopping or nails.
 

I go out to dinner with people from work regularly...but I'm not sure it counts because it's actually FOR work. I work for a nonprofit organization with a lot of volunteers from across the country. We have meetings in different places around the country, and taking the group out to dinner is part of the job.

I do go out for fun without DH regularly, too...probably once every three or four weeks...with just one or two of my girlfriends. He'll go out with the guys without me, too. I think that keeping up with our own friends and doing things without each other is very healthy for our relationship.

Nope! I work with all guys. (kinda nice though, no "Drama") After yrs of working in Day Spa's, it's a nice relief! LOL!  I used to joke,  it was like

a soap opera,  "As the Spa Turns." 

I don't have a job, so right now I have no coworkers to go out with. I think my classmates are all getting together next Friday for lunch. There are 8 of us that have been in class together since December and 5 of them are finished next Friday so we are going out after class.

I haven't "worked" since my DD was born 2 years ago; but at the job I had from 2004-2007 I did a lot of lunch meetings.  I had dinner a couple times with some of the girls from an agency we worked with.  They were all people I enjoyed doing that kind of thing  with though.

Yes, I go out to lunch or dinner with people from work.  Usually about once a month.  I dine out quite frequently, at least once or more a week, without my partner. 
 

   Without my DH or SO.....It is rare I eat out with friends and always have my BGM (Baby Girl Maia) on my mind. When I do work, its crazy hours, and the first thing on my mind is my BGM, who needs a DH when I have my BGM as my SO !

    Back to the question, I went to dinner with my boss today, and BGM wasn't there

If I go with people at work, DH is there too. DH and I go out for dinner about once a month or maybe twice.

being honest all my life I have been skipped those kind of event....
