Sorry if I put this in the wrong area! I guess this will be a Kitty cat chatter thread! LOL!

I nicknamed my B&W cat Facey (Don't laugh) fuzzy wuzzy because well, she IS fuzzy wuzzy.

My young tabby Tiger gets called fancy-pants because she walks like she hates for her feet to touch the ground. My mom called her Miss Priss! :)

My big cat Pretty (No laughing again!!!) gets called Obi - because she's so obsessed with getting outside.

My Grey & White Mittens gets called mouse cos she looks like a big mouse. :)

My youngest, my black cat, used to be named Cuddles because she's such a love-bug is now called Trouble because she IS the definition of trouble! :)

My little boy, who has the elegant Sanskrit name of Sundar, was named Bozzo by my friends who looked after him while I was away, obviously because he's such a clown!

Out of our three, only one has a nickname. It's our white male Casper. Our nickname for him isn't very proper, and we have to be careful when the grandkids are visiting. It sounds like 'pucker', but spelled with a 'PH'. We tell our friends about the spelling. And he is what we call him...an absolute PITA. I know that his pic below makes him look like an innocent little kitty cat. Boy, did he have us fooled. But we love him as much as he lets us.

Fluffy is nicknamed Miss Fuzzy Britches because her hindquarters, back legs, and tail are SO fuzzy and she shakes her rear when she runs. It is so cute.

This is a great thread!

Sometimes we call Cheddar, ChedChed just because my nephew wanted a nickname for him. We also call him Wildman because he will run around the house like a wild man. I think he likes the sounds of his nails on the hardwood floors, because he will run in place for a few seconds, run across the room and slide to a stop. All with his nails out. Too funny.

Colby is still to young to have earned a nickname but I'm sure will get one too.

Ms. Pepe - our PepMonster, Miss Pep

Amber Louise - Amber the Bamber, Miss Amber

Mollipop - Molli, Miss Pop, SchnookerJo, MolliPolli, Miss Fluffy Britches, and Babe (she answers to them all)

Tabby - Tabs, Tabby the Babby (that girl is constantly babbling about something), Topo Gigio, The Babette

One rename here: Zabbie. Vet and I BOTH thought he was female, and he was officially listed by the vet as Pansy (momma was Daisy). He refused to answer to anything but Where's the baby, all long and drawn out to Wheeerzababeeeee and that quickly degenerated to Zabbie, and one step outside and a holler of Zab brings him running.

Tippy often gets called Gorgeous because he is, although pics don't do him justice - most pics of him are a black cat shape with glowing eyes.......*SIIGH*

We sometimes call Ninotchka, "Dusty Paws" 'cause she'll jump up on our laps just after she's been in the litter box and leave dusty paw-prints all over the place.

My mum pronounced Cecilia "Cecoolia" when she had a cold this one time, so now she's Sue, Sue-Sue, Susie, Susie Q,or Susanna.

But Pollyanna, Princess, Babba, Cee, or Babygirl all work too!

My Rainbow kitty Chynna was affectionally known as "Face" or "Chynna Banana" or "Beautiful"

Abby doesn't really have a nick name. I call her Abby Wabby or Baby Girl

Spencer is either "Spencie Wencie" or "Spencer Kitty"

Katie still doesn't know her name, so it doesn't matter what I call her  LOL

Oh geez where to start!

We had a little grey for the span of her life named Sasami(RIP). We called her Sa with a little saying of "Cause what Sa wants, Sa gets." and "She who rules with an iron claw" Tiny little thing that she was left everyone in bowing to her wishes. Even the dogs parted when she walked by.

Oreo(RIP) had  many many names. My oldest said "We Adoreo an Oreo." I would always call him "The rare and elusive Fuffle" He was also extremely overweight and had some fun poked at him over it. When I tried to put him on a diet he would throw things off the coffee table and once staged a sit protest on a puzzle. I miss him so much my soul hurts.

We just adopted two new cats, since we couldn't keep on going catless. We named our new little grey "Diana, Goddess of the Hunt" My son is taking Latin and studying Romans. He has laid claim to her. She makes him laugh until he can't stand up. I wanted to name her Skittles after the candy cause she is a little rainbow, but who can argue with a teenager?

The other fellow is a 4 year old male now named Verizon. "Can you hear me now? Good!" He wanders around looking and calling for you. He is a very chatty cat with plenty of personalty quirks. At first we were not sure he liked up. But now he adores my husband. For that he has earned the name "Traitor Kitty!"

My family's cat Toby is also called Neil, to be cried out in a high pitched, happy voice.  He always comes running!

My childhood cat Big Guy was also known as Roger.

Can't seem to remember why these names stuck!  They're certainly random.

We've recently taken to calling Blair "shug" like Nancy Gribble from King of the Hill.  She was born in Louisiana, so we've always imparted a southern drawl on her perceived remarks :p

Edit:  Totally forgot about Blair's newest nickname: "Noodly cat"

She's lanky, and one of our friends remarked that she looked "noodly".  It has stuck since!

"Bozzo"

In the US, that's spelled Bozo.

We call Punkin "Wiggle Butt," because of the way he walks, especially when he wants you to follow him out to the foodbowl.
