My boyfriend's brother-in-law installs cable, and was recently at an old woman's house and saw her physically abusing these kittens. He took one home and saved it, but I later heard there were still two that age there and some other ones she had just found by her trailer. I asked him [my boyfriend's brother-in-law] where she lived and he said he would stop by there and try to pick them up for me because she was not hesitant at all about giving them away, and definitely not hesitant to hit/throw them

I'm reaaaally hoping he can stop back by and save those babies for me. And if he doesn't have the time i'm going to go there myself and get them.

I hope you reported the woman for animal cruelty.  If she is not at least warned, she will do it again and again.

Well I didn't go out there, he did- and he said it was a different older woman this time who was much nicer and was planning on keeping one, but he told her he knew someone who was going to place them into good homes and she was very happy about letting them go with that knowledge. He said he told her she needs to get the cats around the area fixed so it doesn't keep happening- hopefully something will improve. As for right now i'm happy with the knowledge that these 3 babies are safe and I will be finding them loving homes.

Well done!  I have been trying to get one of my clients to fix her cat (for free through a local program) and now it looks like she is preggy already... so frustrating.  It is just never ending with people neglecting, and even outright abusing, their animals.

Those guys are so cute, they will be easily adoptable :)

These poor babies were in bad shape. They must've been outside because they are just overwhelmed with some of the worst cases of ear mites i've ever seen, worms as well. Violet even had a tick in one of her armpits! They are all doing well now though after their vet visit and are oh so sweet. Here's individual pics for those who haven't seen:
