I have six cats and one or more of them has started peeing on this 2'x 2' area. I had left my leather bookbag on the ground and I think that is what started it because whoever it was peed on that. It all started yesterday morning and now there is about six or seven spots!! I'm thinking it is my five month old male(unnuetered). I was wondering if he is too young to start spraying? And also is he to young to get nuetered? What about my girl kitten?I've bought some Petzyme cat stain and odor remover, and it's in the process of drying right now. Here's my suspect!

I would take your cat to the vet as quickly as possible. He could have crystals in his urine or another type of urinary tract infection

Luckily, neutering is a one-time expense. Our cat started spraying the windowsills when he was just under six months of age, so five months sounds about right. He still sprays in the backyard when intact males are around, but he no longer does it in the house.

You must have some reason to suspect one cat- is it just because he isn't neutered that you think he is the sprayer? If you have the means, you could isolate each one not all at once in the bathroom to see who is spraying. There is also a special dye you can get the vet to inject that makes the cats urine glow and you can tell from that which one is spraying.

That's exactly why I think it is him. Sometimes he just starts meowing for no reason at all to, and he is a little too interested in every body elses scent. I plan on keeping all of the cats in the bathroom downstairs, execpt for one, each night, and eleminate them one by one. Tiger being the last. And tommorow I'm schedualing Tiger and Ashley(sister), and Momma Cat to get spayed/nuetered respectivly. Could Tiger mate with his sister and mom this young? I mean I know they will eventually, but he is acting weird lately.

Instinct will prompt him to try. But ordinarily the male has to be 8-10 months old before the mating takes. But I know for a fact that they can sometimes mate successfully earlier than that.
