meowing

My cat has always been a little chatterbox, but she dosent usually meow, just makes soft chittering noises. I went away for 3 days and since ive gooten back, all she does is meow! Its one of those loud whiny ones to! Do you think shes just been lonely and will get over it or has this become a habbit??!

It's hard to say. She could have missed you, or she could be trying to tell you something. If she is eating, drinking, playing and using the litter box in a normal fashion, then I wouldn't really worry about it. It will only become a habit for her if you fuss over her while she is meowing and make a big deal about it. If you know in your mind that she is not sick or wounded- ignore her when she is noisy and pay a ton of attention to her when she is silent.
