Kittens eye stuck shut

One of the kittens left eye is closed shut and has gunk dried on it, not yellow or green... Looks white. How can I get that off so he can open his eye? I thought Mama would have cleaned it off by now, but tonight is the 2nd night and it's still shut... Could I just use a warm wet washcloth? Any suggestions?

It's okay it's perfectly normal. I know I had the same problem with my kitten look at the forum: Goopy Eyes? Stuck Shut? Read Here First!! by gayef. good luck, but what ever you do don't try prying it open! follow the instructions on that forum it should help! - and the washcloth won't do the kitten's eye any good  since the eye is very sensitive. I hope this helps!

Use a warm cloth to soak the crusties off. You can put some polysporin ointment (or similiar) if it is recurring.
