Hi everyone,

I'm just joining in today and hope to have time to meet everybody and share in the fun.

I am the very happy mom to 2 brand new "kittens" that are about a year old, and an "oldster" that just passed his 16th birthday.  In February we lost 2 of our precious felines within a month of each other.  My husband's dearest friend in the whole world, Gabe, went to the vet for routine yearly vaccinations and checkup, and my vet found an alarming mass in his abdomen.  Exploratory surgery revealed massive and widespread cancer.  He was only 9.  My husband was grief stricken (as was I).  I went online and prayed fervently for a new feline friend for Fred.  I knew in his case it had to as close to Gabe as possible.  God answered my prayer and we found Peanut Butter, who is now Gabby Too, at a rescue in Wisconsin.  But God surprised me with another young fellow who had been born in a kill shelter and had been transferred to this rescue.  The two cats were very good friends, and the other cat resembled my 19-year-old Shiloh.  I had to do some fast convincing, but Fred let me get the other cat too.  Exactly one week later, we lost Shiloh.  So now we have Gabby Too, who is, by the way, an almost exact replica of the original Gabe, Spiderman (my new cat - name is self-explanatory), and Spook, 16+.  So...that's my story in a nutshell.  Thanks for letting me in!

Thanks.  That last picture is Gabby, Fred's new lovebug.  Spook is my 16-year-old black longhair.  Spiderman is the top one, the black and white.

They are great furbabies!
