Picture of the Month: Cat Hugs!

Did you know that there's a "Hug Your Cat Day"? I've seen several dates suggested for the actual day, but everyone agrees it's in May, so I decided this would make a great theme for our contest this month!

We're looking for pictures of cats hugging and/or being hugged. Humans, other cats, other animals or even stuffed toys - anything goes, as long as there's a heart warming hug in the picture.

The Rules are simple:
 

1. Choose the best picture you have for our monthly theme and post it to this thread.
2. One submission per member please
   

Submissions will be accepted through Monday, May 28th. Voting will follow for 3 days.

Please do not use the thumbs-up buttons in this thread before we announce the voting stage. Thank you!


As always, winner gets bragging rights and gets to wear this nifty award badge for a month:

I have some hug pictures on CDs, but think the best love displays are bath and massage movies. If Wilbur and Patricia were human, they would have been married.

My beloved Snickers giving me a hug. Snicky was my first cat, and when he died at age 19, he took a part of my heart with him. He battled liver disease in the last few months of his life, he was blind and deaf, but still played, got around and picked on that catnip sock of his all night long! I will miss him forever.

Skippy and Tiger! Brothers from the same litter! THEY LOVE EACH OTHER!!! =-D

Awww, sweet pictures!

This is my son Aidan and our new kitty Oreo hugging.  We had only rescued this pregnant mommy (not pregnant anymore) a few days before this photo was taken.  I can not get over the look of such love in Oreo's eyes and the total joy from Aidan!!!!

Carrot and Peppercorn can frequently be found having a cuddly hug-fest (when they aren't running around faster than the speed of sound).

This was 'once in a lifetime' situation so I have to post this pic. Utu does NOT cuddle with other cats. Ever. This was the only time I've seen him like that with another cat (tiny Kuura in this case).
