Last year I planted my first ever veggie garden.  I just finished getting things in the ground for this year too.  I'm a little late starting; but being pregnant and then having the baby is probably the best excuse I can come up with for a long time.
I only got it done because my mother in law is here helping out with the kids!

My garden is small, only 4'x8'.  This year I'm going small on what I try to plant too.  I did ok last year; learned a lot.  We also just planted 2 lilac bushes my Mom and Step-dad gave me for Mother's day.  They are my favorite flower/scent/color...etc!  Except these are the pink ones and color wise I love the light purple the best!  I'd like to add 2 more purple bushes next to the pink.

I have had more time the last two years for gardening and have planted some beautiful perennials. This year I added to them. Aster, Baptisa, and Baby's Breath. I love daffodils and tulips also. Have a lovely Clematis and many Lily's around the house. Now that I have more time for the flower's, I am really enjoying taking care of them. I have many more but the names of them :dk:.... I am so bad about that. So forgetful. I should keep a list.. :bigthumb:

Not even REMOTELY interested in gardening... Mom is always after me to help her garden. No thanks. We got home our vacation and my uncle had done all of OUR gardening for us! We had a cedar out front that had died, so he planted a bunch of new, beautiful things for us. No clue what they all are though.

I love to garden but I'm confined to a small balcony garden. However, I do make the most of it and have a ton of plants, mostly annuals I grew from seed.

Because my mom and dad didn't really make use of our nice sized yard back in Brooklyn, I planted snapdragons (started the seeds indoors in January) and they looked nice. We had a wall of ivy (creeped over from the adjacent yard) and one snapdragon plant somehow grew out of the ivy about 10 feet off the ground. Strange how that happened. Must've been the wind but still I don't see how because I started the seeds indoors. I don't have a style - I just like flowers. My favorite flower? Hmm. Hard to say. Bearded iris? Tiger lilies?

I am good with Calla lillies. I have three yellow, pink and red

I have a willow tree, I planted.

Grapevine, we make jelly and juice from. The leaves are good for Italian beef.

I have a few flowers in pots for the summer. My house plants moved outside for the summer for the porch attraction.

I'm going to try again to keep plants alive -- but unfortunately I have a black thumb!!!     Home Depot has a policy that any plants you buy you can return within one year if they die.  Well they'll soon have my picture on the wall with a big notice saying "Do Not Sell Plants to This Plant Killer".
