Was there any oil or butter on them?

It's always amazing what can catch a cat's fancy.  Flambe will kill for a cabbage leaf.

No, in fact, I'd just rinsed them.  Not a thing on them.  And he wasn't just licking either, he was nom'ing big time.  :)

Don't you feed that poor cat, Mike?
My Hobo does his "feed me" chirp while he's eating.  He showed up at our factory docks after a week locked inside a rail train boxcar from Georgia as a kitten in 2004, and he's never forgotten being hungry.

:lol3: I might not know the "history or story" behind the peas and Hobo - but that is pretty darn funny

Notatall.  Our youngest loves lemon sandwich creme cookies.  (She only gets a tiny taste once in awhile, not to worry!)  And I've seen some Hopi cats who absolutely love corn.

Spice will eat peas, green beans, tomatos, and prefers lemon pudding to butterscotch. In fact she will just about eat anything. The cats have a bowl of kibble all the time and get a little gooshyfood morning and night.

I almost forgot the strangest thing she eats. Dole snack pack pears (no sugar added) and loves to lap the juice.  I don't give her very much at a time and only once a week or so.

My granddaughter's cat, Toodles, loves peaches. Fresh or canned, it doesn't matter to her. They give her some occasionally, and she will eat a small piece, then gnosh along on them like she is savoring a wonderful treat.
