My name is Andrea. I am much younger than my cat would be if she was human. The cat in my avatar is my first cat Emily, who lived with me from nine weeks to 12 years. "Wil" is for Wilbur, my sweetheart who died on December 1, and "cha" is for CHA, Citizens for Humane Action, a cat and dog shelter I volunteered at the last eight years because I adopted Wilbur through that organization. I want to learn a lot about cats in this forum because my dream is to start a cage-free no-kill cat shelter. I chose May 15 to join a cat message board because that was the date in 1994 I became a cat mom.
