So I came home a few hours ago and found a small poop on the floor in front of the bathroom (where the litterbox also is). I picked it up and didn't think much of it since every once in a while he gets one of those dangly poops that stick for a minute and then falls off after he's walked out of the litter box.
I went as usual and sat down at my computer, and a while later I accidentally knocked some things of the desk onto the floor as I was turning to get up. I picked up the items (a sleeve for a PC game and the box for it too) and it looked funny. Upon closer inspection I noticed it was wet and thought that the water bottle I had knocked over as well must have spilt. I grabbed a tissue to clean up the water (its hardwood flooring) and it was yellow! Sure enough, I gave it a cautious sniff and it was cat pee!
As I was running around upset trying to clean up the mess, I stepped in another puddle! I got down on the floor and looked, and there are at least 3 other puddles on the floor! I was only gone about 5 hours, so that seems like a lot of pee, don't you think?

I don't understand what could have caused him to do this, he didn't even go for somewhere soft, just all over the hard floor, I'm so upset. :(

He's had at least two UTI's before, but they weren't anything like this. Before he'd jump in and out of the litter box over and over, but nothing would come out. This is lots of pee over a short amount of time.

Also, he threw up the other the day, but that's probably not related..

When I left the litter box hadn't been scooped for today no, but that still seems like a Lot of pee for just 5 hours. Especially since I've had to leave him in the care of my grandpa before who isn't very... consistent.. about scooping and this never happened then....

No, I wasn't able to take him yesterday because I had work, but I'll be taking him today.

So I took him to the vet and from everything I told them they said it could be symptoms of anything so they did a full blood panel (since we couldn't figure out when the last full one had been done) and they called me back the next day to say that he passed with flying colors.
So the plan is to just chill out and see if it happens again...
