What a beautiful boy he is!!!!!
Oh please be careful w/ the plastic bags. Someone just had a thread on here about their cat running around freaking out, because his head was caught in the handle.

(just FYI)

Thank you! No worries, I only let him do that for a moment under my supervision, then i immediately take the bag away. I never ever let plastic bags around because Lucas abs Nena are crazy about them and always try to get inside them:-)

Ok, Lucas started a new journey today, I started him on Transfer Factor Feline Complete. I was afraid he wouldn't take it with his food because I didn't want to have to force him to take it. Thank God he happily had the whole dose with his wet food, he didn't even noticed!

I hope it helps him be stronger and who knows ? Maybe in the future he could be able to be on a lower dose of prednisolone. You never now..

AWWWW, Tammy, I am just BEAMING :D :D at how good and happy Lucas looks. Walden and Wendall also love it when I come home from the grocery store with those plastic bags. They crawl inside of them and I pick up the bag and carry them around. They think that is so much fun and a great game. Like you, I put the bags away after we play. :bigwink:

Thank you Kelly:) Our vet told me it would be a good idea to give Lucas transfer factor, infact, there are people that have used it for cats with immune problems like lupus and it has helped a lot.  I don't remember the name, but years ago, someone on this forum gave me a link to one kittie's journey with lupus and transfer factor.

Here is the product, Lucas has been on it for 3 days now, I have to make sure he takes the whole dose everyday with his food, which is not easy with 3 more cats in the house.

I just want him to be stronger and I"m hoping this will help:)

Yes, it is supposed to be very good. I had a little problem today though, he noticed it in his food and refused to eat :-( So I mixed it with a little bit of food and gave it to him with a syringe, but I hate doing that, he was so mad at me :-(. I wish I could find another way to give it to him.

Typical cat reaction to getting better.  Climb as high as possible. Hugs and skritchies to Lucas and smiles and pats on the back to you.

Thank you ! Everything he does makes me so excited, when he was on prozac he couldn't climb like this and if he did, I had to bring him down because he got dizzy. He is one happy guy:-)

Hi Tammy!
I have used Transfer Factor for Bugsy for quite a while. On cases like Lupus, where you want to use it as an immune-modulator, you can use the TF Classic instead of the Feline.
Here is the link: Transfer Factor Classic
The Plus will boost the immune-system too much, and it can work against you in an immune mediated disease, but the Classic will regulate the immune system according to its needs

The difference with the feline are the fillers, to make it taste better, essentially. The down-side are the fillers itself, and the cost.
The Classic is about $38 for a 90-day supply. You only need to give a capsule a day, and the capsules are tiny
If he has allergies, it is AWESOME for allergies as well -
Because it is just a bit of powder, I didn't have any issues with him rejecting it.
LOTS of cats use it.... far more use the human ones than the feline formula, FYI.

Hope this helps Lucas, good luck hun! :wavey:

Omg I wish I had known this earlier! I should have asked questions here before buying it. A friend told me I shouldn't be giving Lucas TF because it will make his Lupus worse, but his immune system is low because of the prednisolone I thought it would becok, us or vet recommended it.

But it has been hell giving it to him, he hates it and won't eat his food with the TF on it. And now that you told me this I will just go snd buy the TF classic. Lucas is soo good taking pills and if it is better for him, I just need to buy it. Thank you sooo much Carolina!
Hug, Tammy
