So, I cut a piece out of a box (not corrugated) that I now want to glue back in.  Long story (I'm an idiot).  I've tried several different types of glue (practicing on something similar) and nothing works. It has to just glue on the very small (narrow) edges.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Put clear tape on the inside of the box.
I actually did end up doing that and it worked good.

The reason I needed to do it:  I bought a smart phone and signed a 2 year agreement.  Then I had severe buyer's remorse and fretted about being able to keep affording the monthly bill.  But I had already cut the proof of purchase out of the box to send for the rebate, so I wanted to reattach it in a manner that wasn't obvious.  In the end, I decided I would keep the service and to heck with worrying about the bill.  So, I peeled the tape back off, sent the form in, and started downloading Apps.

And for anyone who is curious, super glue doesn't work.

A hot glue gun would have done the trick!

Congrats on your phone :)

I just got a rebate cheque from Kitchen Aid for some attachments I bought. It was a nice surprise in the mailbox! I love things that offer rebates!!

Me too, but I would rather they just took it off the price at the time..or allowed me to submit the rebate online

I love rebate things.

I haven't paid for cat litter in probably 4 months-- (Feline Pine and Arm & Hammer all offer rebates through the end of the year 2012)

I think World's Best also has a free bag if you check their web site.
