Our eleven month old kitten Cookie has all of the sudden become a picky eater. When we first adopted her, we had her on Royal Canin kitten food but when she turned six months we put her onto Friskies canned wet food. She was okay on the Friskies for a while, but we noticed she was getting plump and after researching about byproducts and fillers I decided to change her to holistic. She likes Weruva Cats in the Kitchen, but will only eat a little of it and then start meowing for treats. We've tried Wellness canned (she hates the pate) Wellness Core dry food, Nature's Variety, and Blue. Then we got so fed up we gave her a can of Friskies. She smelt it and walked away.
Needless to say, we need to find a food for Picky Cookie. I tried giving her raw, but she wouldn't even go near it. The treats she used to eat were the Temptations kind, but we cut those out and bought some healthy ones which she didn't like.
So my questions are, does anyone here have their cats on Weruva? Is it a good choice? And does anyone have any reccomendations to fix Cookie's pickiness?
(Any food wasted in the process has gone to the ferals. Needless to say, they are getting chubby, hehe).

Lots of us have picky cats
.  I am currently converting my cats to raw, and since I used to free feed kibble, it's been quite the journey.  Currently, besides the variety of raw products I have on hand, I also have a variety of Weruva canned goods, for those days when they are being entirely too picky for their own good.   Some days they will only eat Weruva fishy foods, some days, chicken foods, some days combinations foods, and some days none
.  One day they'll act like they HATE Cats in the Kitchen, then a couple days later they'll be begging for it.

I would say Weruva is a very good choice because it is grain free.  I buy the variety packs.

For treats, have you tried the freeze dried chicken breasts by Whole Life?  Don't know of any cats yet who don't like those!  (they say they're low calories, but I'd still use them sparingly)

Ooh, I will look into those treats. The problem is the only pet store I have near me is Pet Valu, and though they sell most of the foods I see mentioned on here, there are many things that they don't carry. We don't really like to order pet foods online, so that brings a lot of foods out of the equation. I'm so glad to hear good things about Weruva, because it seems to be all good but I was unsure. Thanks for the reply :D

I have to order everything on-line, even the Weruva!  But maybe that Pet Valu carries Whole Life, if they carry Weruva
