Why, oh, WHY, did I move the furniture in the study?  I didn't really lift anything, but my back is in agony.  Stupid me! I should know better!

I hear you....and I feel your pain. Honest.

I have four blown disks in my lower back and am not supposed to do much of anything. So when I move furniture around or even spend a whole day gardening or housecleaning or even cooking for a big dinner, I end up in bed that night with the Advil bottle. By the next morning, though, I'm usually OK, although there have been times when the pain has lasted for several days. But it usually heals quickly.

I could get my husband to do a lot of this stuff, but well, his back isn't the greatest either. And I like working around the house and gardens, darn it!

Pretty much the past four days, I've been working around the house and the yard. Moving furniture around, taking stuff from the kitchen down to the basements, lots of heavy lifting and carrying (which I'm not supposed to do). Weeding outside in the flowerbeds. And I ended up in bed last night with the Advil. This morning, though, I feel quite a bit better....my lower back isn't quite so twinge-y.

I hope you feel better soon!

Thank you! I took the day off, and laid on my heated massage pad on the sofa. It really does help.

I just realized that the cats stole my tiny bottle of aspirin! I had it on the kitchen counter this morning. Around 11, I heard a cat playing in the kitchen with something plastic, that rattled. I was in too much pain to get up for something so trivial. I didn't make the connection until now.  I asked DH to look, as I can't get on the floor, nor bend easily. We can't find it!  He's going to the store to buy me another bottle. I'll need it to sleep tonight, so I can go to work tomorrow.
