Hi everyone! I'm new here and I joined looking for a new kibble to feed my cats. I have then on a partial raw diet but they won't eat canned food and with the recent recalls I am going to have to find something new for them. They are currently eating TOTW.

Any advice on a decently priced, preferably grain free kibble that is *not* made my Diamond would be appreciated =)

Thanks!

This article http://catcentric.org/nutrition-and...y-cat-or-i-can-afford-to-feed-commercial-raw/ has a table with a cost comparison of dry foods. There are links to manufacturer websites so you can check ingredients. At the time, I didn't know Nutro or 4Health was contracted to Diamond. Where known, it's noted, but all list the owner of the brand. This is a link directly to the dry food-only part of the table: http://catcentric.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Dry-Kibble-Table-1.pdf

Just curious - if your cats are eating raw, why feed kibble?

You might check out the line of Nutro kibble available.  All of Nutro's products are manufactured at our own plants.  Every ingredient can be traced from farm to table.  There are no compromises on the quality of the ingredients and each batch undergoes 600 tests before being released.  Nutro has been around for over 80 years. All 4 of my cats have thrived on Nutro products and so have all of my dogs.  You can find more info about the product lines at http://www.nutro.com/natural-cat-food.aspx
