Her name is Trudy.

She walked into our property somehow and right into the house asking for food.

She appeared fearless and a domestic cat that someone threw away.

We searched for the owner, posted adverts, but on-one responded.

No need to say that I fed her straight away and I took her to the vets and she had her shots and de-worming and de-tick and de-flea muti.  The whole lot.

My five cats are all fixed, not aggressive, and very territorial, but - they did not harm her in any way.

Trudy is very sweet and so smart, and seems to be a blessing to our feline family.  My kitties adjusting to her very well and beginning to accept her.

Here is the picture of Trudy just an hour after she walked in on 22nd of April 2012 (yes, she has claimed my husband as her own and still sleeps with him all the time).  Vets said she is four month old kitten.

Another pic from the same time:

One of my friends said that she has some past life connection with my husband.

Well, sure. she is very smart and by now she gets all others to accept her.

No need to say that there was no introduction done by us, - she did it all on her own.

My other kitties are mostly amused by her, and Trudy is mostly sensitive to others' territorial feelings.

We will spay her soon (5 to 6 month she must be for that, not earlier, because she is sort of underdeveloped for her age).

A week later she started going into the yard and she has fallen in-love with a tree that is in-front of my bedroom window.

She also invites everyone of my five three-year-old kitties to climb it with her.

Midnight is the one who took interest in Trudy straight away (perhaps because Trudy is small being a kitten, and Midnight, even a three-year-old, but a very small kitty in statue).

So, a week from when Trudy joined us - Midnight keeps following her to that tree by my bedroom window:

Here are some pics of that:

Trudy just a bit higher on that tree:

and another one of Trudy:

Love & Light to all from our family of six now!!!

Oh my....I want a Trudy to wander into my house!  (A female brown tabby is what I have in mind for our next kitty....but I'm open to anyone.)  Midnight is so beautiful too.  I have three (almost) two year old cats and I'm holding off on getting a 4th because I just know one will wander into our lives.  They have a way of doing that, I've read.  I'm waiting!

Thank you so much everyone for your wonderful comments!

Yes, they cats do that and it is well known.  Often they will adopt us humans and I feel that it is very special.

There is a lady who was a landlady for my sister some 10 years ago, and she had something like 6 to 10 cats on her property (that was a very large property with horses and any other animals in it.  Lady is a true animal lover).

Each and everyone of those cats just walked in on that lady and stayed.  She never brought up even one cat, but kept all the strays, fixed and treated them.

And another friend of mine has a cat living with her who also claimed her house for his, even though my friend had many dogs in her home and no cats.  It is a beautiful red tabby male adult cat and his name is 'Cat'.  She just wanted to call him that way.

As for me - a week from when Trudy waked in and stayed - I saw few stray cats around.  Then I just saw the scrawny little black kitten nearby our property.  I picked her up and put her in my car, and didn't even drive in to our place (I don't want to traumatize my six cats anymore).

So, I got home, got a box of cat food, fed the kitten in the car, and took her to our vets. (Our vets do this thing to find homes for animals if they are not gravely ill).  They appreciated the box of cat food, and the little black kitten with green eyes was just very thin, but not sick at all.

She was only six weeks old.  So they said that they definitely will find her good home, and even vet's assistant-student wants her.

I said that I so love black cats and always wanted to have one, but...  my darlings come first and we can only afford what we can with our income to give our kitties all the love and the best life they deserve with personal attention to each and every one.

I since found another place for animals in our country called 'Friend's Foundation for Animals' and apparently they don't reject animals nor kill them if no-one adopted (as I was told), so I'm now on a prowl to find that stray taxedo cat-mother around here and any of her babies left.  I've seen her once, but she is difficult to spot.

Hubbby looks like he is enjoying Trudy's company.  That little fur ball is a cutie and sure to be a much loved member of your family.  Isn't it odd how they know which houses to go to when they are looking for a home.

Yes, Trudy is very sweet and she reminded to us how it is to have a kitten.

Kittens are so very cute and adorable.....

I just spent about three hours watching videos of my five growing up.

They ALL grow into CATS eventually!

No need to say that we always have five of our three year old CATS and we love them more and more as the time goes by...

Personally I love CATS, yes grown cats, and if it was my choice - I'd adopt adult cats and elderly cats into our home.

Grown CATS are a blessing more than a kitten can ever be.

But, even for me and my DH (old humans in age) kittens are a very special, and they just appear on us.  So here we go with raring them to be lovely adults.

But Trudy - she is almost human - that is how understanding this 4 month old kitten is to everyone's needs, and she is respectful to our adult cats too.  Her touch is so special...  Never a scratch or a bite, even though she acts it with us at play...  She is so gentle and she puts herself out to all other kitties, but at the moment they just hiss at her if in close approximation.

Still - all of us are managing and Mia (the 3.5 year old girl-dog) helps.  All my cats love Mia and Trudy does too now.  Mia is the first friend to Trudy in our fur-family.

I hope that some years from now Trudy will be full-grown glorious girl CAT in our family, accepted by all others and great friend to every being in our family.

Well, kitten season has hit with a vengeance at the shelter, so you shouldn't have any trouble having a kitten wandering into your life!

Some time past...

Trudy is still doing very well.

Here is an update.

She has grown, and far from thin now, and she is about to be spayed really soon.  Just waiting for about a week or so when I can take full days from work to look after the situation, and I will bring my mom around, so Trudy will be under constant supervision after operation for couple of days or so, that I can look after my five three year-old's just the same, and mom can pay special attention to Trudy 24/7.

Some current pics of her:

1).  Trudy is Still a dedicated climber.  Here is another tree in our yard, and she loves to go right to the crown of it.

2). And another one of her on the same tree:

3).  Trudy has found a way to the roof - a favorite 'moon-chair' to every cat of ours, which serves as a scratch post and an easy way up and down from the roofs of our house.

She loves to sit on it sometimes for as long as an hour, observing all there is to see.

4).  She now goes to the roof to enjoy the cool evening up there and see all things from above.

Only about a meter to jump up.  And here she goes down from being on the roof.

Haven't had a chance to take a picture of her on a roof yet, but it was fun to watch here there.

Nowadays she sleeps in many places.  Her favorite is still on my DH's bed where May (my eldest sleeps), but sometimes Trudy sleeps in a cattery in my bedroom (that with many shelves and made out of straw and lain with blankets - it goes almost up-to the sealing).

Sometimes she loves to sit in a cat-house right below my bedroom window (made out of wood - two stories).

But never does she sleep on my bed, because she respects others who sleep with me (and they are three).

So far - so good.  We are really enjoying this little one in our family, and she seem to enjoys it too.

Trudy is beautiful. It is wonderful she was able to choose her perfect family
Thank you so much  Marianne for your kind comment.

Yes, we love her to bits already and we are only hoping that our family is good enough for her and will be forever.
