I"ve called her Macy...I am a bit worried as I don't think she's had very good nutrition throughout her pregnancy. She was a stray that was brought in with fleas and lots of worms. She's pretty big and the babies feel strong..lots of movement. I am expect at least 5 but maybe more. Here's a pic...

Ohhh..lindz..I love that black and white kitty, just precious! Thanks for the vibes! :)

I'll let you know if she starts showing any signs. Right now she's drinking alot and still eating well.

I just wish she was able to clean her butt... ick. I might try to use a kitty wipey on her.

She's only been with me two nights and was pretty stressed when I got her here. I didn't want

to over do it.

Oh I know isn't that hard?? You never know where they've been or what they've gotten into and want to get them clean!!! With my past two foster mom's I've used those kitty bath wipes on them the second they got in my house! Luckily, mine have been very nice mamas and they just thought I was petting them, lol! Good luck! Keep us posted!

TONS of vibes, she is beautiful! I always worry about nutrition with new fosters too. It's always much easier when you get them earlier in their pregnancy and can make sure they're getting good food and any necessary treatments. Here's hoping all goes well!

Well, she's nesting a bit..so it should be soon. I haven't attempted the wipes...she has a "bitchy" side :) so I'll probably get swatted.

She purrs and loves to be petted but once in a while she'll turn her head quick while giving the stink eye. lol

Maybe I'll wear an oven mitt... hehe

Aww she looks like my foster Lexi. She was pretty big like her too and had 7 kittens!
for a safe delivery of healthy kittens.

Well it was a false alarm yesterday. So this morning she started having contractions around 11:20am. I was getting worried but she finally passed

the first one at 1:30! She pushed forever...baby was breech. Tiny little boy (i think) that looks like her. Four white socks and a white star on his nose.

The next came 40 minutes later and she's a beautiful calico, white face with a black dot on her nose.

Here's the thing...the kitten came out, and mom cleaned her off but is still too fat to reach right to her bum. The placenta was still in her and she

couldn't reach the cord to chew it. No more contractions...so I ripped the cord to free the kitten and brought her up to mom and teats.

Everyone is doing well but Momma is having a break. The placenta is still in her and I know she has more kittens to come.

I know I have to make sure she passes the placenta but I'm hoping once her contractions start up again..it should plop out..

I'll upload pics when I get a chance!

Well, she had #3 at 7:00pm. So...8 hours to deliver 3!!! I feel badly for her. Her contractions seem so ineffective. The third is a girl..kinda a torti as far

as I can see. Mostly, black but has an orange stripe down the side of her nose. Momma is exhausted!! :(
