Sorry this is a little late, we got a late start this morning/afternoon.
I really haven't gotten much accomplished this weekend but one this I did do (while avoiding doing something actually productive) is clean out my kitchen utility drawer. Everyone has one. You know, the drawer you store measuring spoons, funnels, scoops and things you only use once or twice a year when cooking.
In the process of organizing this drawer I discovered I have 3 bread knives (including one that is electric). The funny things is I don't make my own bread. Mine is bought pre-cut. I also found I have a melon baller. I have never balled a melon in my life. I also have a corkscrew. Now, we live in West Virginia. Any wine we get will usually have a screw off cap or come in a box. Or, better yet, a Mason Jar
. Plus some stuff I don't have a clue what it is for. Granted, most of this came from Mom's house. While cleaning out her kitchen it was like "well, I don't know what it is, but mom has it so it will probably come in handy sometime."
So, today's question (and challenge) is, do you know what is in your drawer and do you actually use it?
