My latest rescue

Hi everyone.

A co-worker called me yesterday to inform me she'd found a female cat and her kittens. She asked if I could take them in and, being the sucker I am, I said yes. Apparently what happened is the owners of the cat threw her out while she was pregnant because she was scratching their furniture, but they did feed her and she appears healthy overall, as well as the kittens. Anyhow, here is a picture of my new (temporary) babies! Sorry for the large size, I meant to resize it but I can't now that I'm at work.

That was so nice of you taking the mom in . And all , mom and kittens look so cute . I am sure the mom is thankfull that you rescue her and gave her one more chance in life .

Well, something wonderful just happened. Another one of my co-workers is an animal lover (she often donates to shelters etc.) and she came up here and gave me an extra litter box, a BIG bag of kitty litter and a $25 gift certificate to PetSmart! I'm so happy. That will definitely help defray the unexpected costs of a whole new family. It's funny how you can lose faith in people and then have others prove you wrong.

It sounds like things are going pretty well. How wonderful you are to have taken that beautiful cat and her cute kittens in. You are an angel. Wishing you the best of luck with your (temporary) new feline family. Don't you wish you could keep them all??? I know I would.

OOOOOOOOOOOo Lovely Mum and her little darlings. Thanks for sharing. It's wonderful that you were able to take them in, and also that your co-worker felt called to help.

She is soo pretty, and two of those kittens are probably going to look just like her! That was excelent of your co-worker to pitch in!
